I also live in LA, though on the other side of town from Parker, in the northeastern part of the county not far from Downtown. I work as a junior copywriter in the beauty/skincare field and write the product descriptions for our website. It's just south of the airport in Manhattan beach so it's a bit of a schlep but thankfully my Mom got a job just down the street so we get to use the carpool lane now. Marvel Studios is just across the street from me and Konami is next door and it's always much cooler down here than it is up where I live.

Oh, and this is probably a dumb question but what's a "CV?"

Awesome, Where did you submit to then? As I am on the look for some new work, Just because I fancy a change to be honest but I don't know what I want to do so thought I would chuck everything on a CV I can do and put it somewhere hoping for the same as you got?

Alas no job but on a more hopeful note got a call about submitted a cv for a specific job. This was unusual as a recruitment agency called me rather than the other way round yay :D

Since I live in Los Angeles naturally I work in Show Business...actually I do but not on the glam side. I manage Security Systems for the Security, Environmental, Health and Safety groups at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Branching off of that I am moving into the Corporate Systems area to assist in Managing HR, Finance and Legal systems as well...at least that is the news I got last week.

So this is me bored at work. Work for the good old MOD. Just because I'm nosey.... Where do you lot work?

That looks kinda cool, actually. I thought it would just be for dungeons, but it looks like you can just put a group together for world events and stuff. Maybe we can use that so we don't have to run around empty zones trying to do events by ourselves. :)
