I wouldn't hold my breath that it will carry over into live. It may be a bug that it unlocks speeder training like that.

Ok, so far I have spent 720 Cartel coins to get a speeder at level 11. This beats 40k credits anyway you look at it. :blink: That was for the speeder AND the speeder piloting training level 1. :woohoo: At first, it was a bit confusing because I was being told I could only buy this as a gift for someone else because I didn't have the speeder piloting training that was required to use the speeder (even though the description stated it gave you the unlock for the ability). :huh: So I "bit the bullet" and bought it anyway just to see what would happen. An icon for the speeder and the unlock for the training appeared in my inventory. I right clicked on the training icon and was granted the ability to use the speeder! And I won't have to purchase another speeder as I level because this one levels with me. As soon as I train for a higher ability, my speeder will also upgrade. This will be GREAT for new characters and won't bankrupt other characters on the account to get the ability and move faster around the game world.

I'll let Seannewboy post screenshots of other things that are available but I also have screenshots if you're not able to post anything. Just let me know if you need the photos. Looks like things are going to improve though as more subscriber benefits are outlined when you first log into PTS. And looking over what's available in the Cartel Store for F2P players to buy that are automatically given to subscribers is making the differences more apparent than before. YEAH!! :woohoo:

Ok Guys. As it stands... we'll be meeting at 10 PM EST on Saturday, November 3rd. Here's a breakdown of the times for those that have posted so far. It's completely understandable if you can't make it due to the time differences. We'll have to try to coordinate meetings for different time-zones.

Cleveland - 10 PM EDT
Los Angeles - 7 PM PDT
London - 2 AM GMT
Lansing - 10 PM EDT

I don't know if this has been suggested yet or if it's already done, but I thought it would be a good idea to organize some kind of weekly/daily/monthly runs of certain zones of the map. We can assign certain zones to certain dates or days of the week. (ie. Mondays level 1-10 zones, Tuesday 11-20 and so on or designate a certain day for runs; first Friday of the month 1-20, 2nd 21-40 and so on). We can have a page or post designated to signing up for the specific dates so we can organize parties and help get our guildies to 100% map completion. If this sounds like a good idea... I'm willing to work with others that are comfortable with the zones and would like to organize this. I can create a map of Tyria and split the zones up depending on how we vote on doing it (daily, weekly, monthly) and do whatever I can to help put some order in the completion steps.

Wow, only a 12g download patch to update pts. This could take a "lonnnnnng" time even at my high baud cable download rate..... :S

Almost an hour later, we're now downloading "English Assets"...5gb's worth. It feels like I am downloading the entire game again just for pts. Geez....and nothing's been installed yet, it's still just downloading...and downloading...

this is gonna be fun, we should put together wings, Delta Wing, Peregrine Wing, Stalker Wing ;)

Thanks Seannewboy! I keep watching for updates to info but you keep finding out stuff before I ever come across it. :huh: I keep checking the SWTOR website but haven't seen ANYTHING about stuff being on pts. Is that where you are finding your info or are you watching another site?

Please join us on Sunday, October 28th at 3:00 PM EDT (12:00 PM PDT, 7:00 PM GMT) for some fun Shuttle PvP! We’ll meet up in DS9 system space in our shuttles to team up and take each other on. Federation and Klingon players alike are welcome to come and participate.

New to PvP?
Don’t worry! This event is just for fun. It doesn’t matter how well your ship is geared or your character is specced. We’re just going to have a good time. If you’re inexperienced with PvP, this is a good chance for you to get some experience. In STO, there is no downside to playing PvP. Even if you lose, you only gain less rewards than the winners.

Need a Shuttle?
If you don’t yet have a shuttle they’re easy to get. Federation players can pick up the Danube Class Runabout from Shuttle Vendor Byarnez at Earth Spacedock in Ship Requisitions for 34,250 Energy Credits. Klingon Defence Force players can pick up the Toron Shuttle from the Orbital Shipyard at First City for 24,250 Energy Credits. There are other shuttles available for Zen and Lobi Crystal.

Don't Forget Your Fittings!
Shuttles generally come with one Universal Ensign Bridge Officer slot so pick out an ability carefully! Also, shuttles can equip special shuttle only item variants that have better stats than non-shuttle variants. For instance, beam arries with 360 degree targeting arcs. Be sure to use these when fitting your ship

Join the pts server and you can check out the cartel coin store. From the sounds of it everyone on the server will be set up as f2p and will get a stipend for testing the store.

Thanks for reporting the issue Akurie. We're aware of the issues in terms of the original post about the fleet bank being robbed and we be dealing with it as best we can and as quickly as we can.

Few things...

We've said this before but If you're interested in becoming a fleet captain you should take a look at the fleet departments page of the website and see where you'd be interested in helping out. Then get in contact with the Admiral of that department (private message on this website is probably the best).

If you have an issue with another member (chat topics that you find offensive will fall into category) then you need to get in contact with an Admiral. Screenshots of conversations would be very helpful to us.

As always you should try and treat each other with respect and also respect each others opinions even if they go against your own.

Call me silly, but, calling the rest of us stupid or inexperienced is also not a fast track to leadership, lol.

Six of Nine is hardly the only person in the fleet that has reservations about you. I find your comments to generally be revolting, inappropriate, and completely unsuited to a LGBT fleet. To be more specific: Your comments yesterday that Gays "shouldn't/can't form Families", and should not be allowed to marry were not congruent with the purpose of this Fleet.

You would be the last person that I would like to see as a member of this Fleet's leadership.
