This might actually be a good thing for SWTOR. I'm not a fan of the F2P model myself. But, it does usually garner more revenue for the hosting company and it allows people who wish to casually play without having to up a sub fee every month. So, I think it could turn out to be a good thing for the game if they can do it right.

Yes, it's not going to happen until the fall but if you'd like to join KOS (Republic faction) or LOS (Empire faction), choose "The Harbinger" for your server, that's where both guilds are. If you have any problems getting an invite if you do decide to start playing, just PM me and let me know when you usually log on and I will log on during that time and send you and invite! The game is fun to play in spite of all the issues. :whistle:

I've been expecting this for quite some time as well. :( The Devs have been getting pretty desperate with all the subscription cancelling that's been happening. You'd think they'd figure out they needed to start updating content much more frequently than they have and to actually include a lot more in the way of updates with each patch. The paltry stuff they've been giving us has caused a lot of problems for most guilds because the devs have been basically pushing people out the door. They have been willfully ignoring all the "feedback" subscribers have been sending their way for an extended period of time and as usual they are now happy to hear any "feedback" we may have with this new announcement? :angry: Unfortunately, they do deserve whatever happens but I will continue to play and hope for the best.

Would it be possible to get some help creating a spiffy graphical sig? Seeing as I have all the Photoshop skills of a blind chimpanzee... It'd be keen to have one I cold use on the STO Forums too...

I know its coming 3pm my time. I suggest to try logging earlier at headstart/tomorrow because they did open a few hours earlier than the announced time for the last BWE.

If the GMT + 1 time is now: 10:37 pm - and west coast is currently 2:37pm then you have an 8 hour difference correct?

So 12:00 noon tomorrow on the west coast will be 8:00 pm GMT+1 time... me thinks.

Glad to see Fleeties coming through with all the donations!! Love all of you guys. As for planning the next event, Voleron, my suggestion would be to (maybe) take a page out of Branflakes book. When he does the weekend events he usually does 2 time slots. Now with our fleet members being spread around the world (literally)and trying to be more responsive to their concerns about being able to attend these Fleet Events I have a suggestion. You might want to consider 3 time slots and if the 3rd time slot is too late for you consider someone who is in ..say.. Europe to handle the 3rd slot. I know this takes a bit more organizing but it seems that this 1st event was pulled together by you VERY well!! Kudo's Voleron!!
