Beta weekend was a lot of fun.

Thankfully I had no lag until Sunday evening around 8pm EST. Agree about the world events or area events. They where a lot of fun to jump in and tackle and I was amazed at how helpful folks where, I would die and several would run over to help me rezz or kill the mobs beating on me. I tried pvp but at level 2 I was getting my butt handed to me. LOL

I hope they work some of the bugs out as GW2 looks like it could be a very fun game up and thru end game.

I feel the same way. During the large scale pvp the lag was insane but I still had a blast!

I hope the next weekend isn't too far away!

The servers just shut down in a blaze of lag. Champion mobs spawning everywhere.

Even with the lag and crashes when in mass fights, it was a fun! Working together in stead of kill/loot stealing. Taking part in dynamic events without the need to be at a particular point in a quest chain. People joining up without lfg spam. Reviving people without being a dedicated healer. Thank you ArenaNet for putting the multiplayer back into MMORPG.

Hey everyone, I got an idea the other day for a new crafting log. If we keep track of what purple and orange items our characters can make, we may be able to help each other out a little better. That way, if someone really needs or wants an item, they can just message whoever can make the item here on the forum, work out payment/gifting, and make the exchange in-game. I'm working on it as I get the time to compile the data, and I hope to keep my post updated along the way. Hopefully this will help some people out. I'm including my character, faction, item name (http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/gear has a great site for checking out specs), rating of the item, and minimum level to use the item.

When you buy a game from Steam you can open it from the "Steam" program from the library tab. Doing so will mean that Steam will log things like how long you've been playing and what accomplishments you have .. accomplished. This is all information your friends can see :)

You can add games that aren't bought from Steam to the "library" by clicking the "add a game" button which is located at the bottom left and going to "add a none-steam game". When launching a game this way from steam you'll keep the social aspects. Like when Yezar launches Guild Wars 2 it flashes up on my screen "Yezar is playing Guild Wars 2".

I don't think it however logs statistics like times played :( Which I kind of hoped it would.

It also has chat systems like that group I made has a built in chat system which you can use while playing whatever game you opened from Steam (without alt-tabbing!). This would be amazing from cross-game communication if it was widely used.
