Well, maybe tomorrow I'll get in but probably Friday based on the announcement. They're allowing everyone through the last week of November in tomorrow. The website says I have December 2nd (not sure how), and it was technically in the same week as the last week of November, so maybe I'll get in? Not counting on it, though. :P

Planning to take work off on Friday, I think.

This can be an issue, especially if you're in a popular vent room with a lot of people talking continuously.

I have turned subtitles on and normally just read along when people are talking.

In a pinch, you can always turn on subtitles. You lose the voice acting, but sometimes you wanna here the voices more than others...

Once I'm in game, I'll coordinate with Dakon to release Smith so I can make mine shortly after. I'm not too fussed about missing out on Angel, it's just a pretendy fun time game. ^.^

I'm running a rig that was high-end maybe 3-4 years ago (nVideo 295 video card, i7 Intel quad-core processor) and was running around with graphics set to max last night with very few noticeable slowdowns.

I had one or two, but suspect it has more to do me running on a 2-or-so-year old install and hiccups of my system rather than related to the game itself.

There does appear to be a few UI bugs still around: my characters portrait had all kinds of black "artifacting" at one point late in my gaming session last night, my Guild UI window got stuck showing only ONE person in the Guild unless I opened the Detail view before the server crashed, and heard a few other ran into issues related to the chat channel(s).

Speaking of which... what are the odds we get assigned the one and only server to crash on the first day of Early Access?!

I need to get in the habit of logging into Ventrilo since we don't have a global chat channel in SW:TOR, so you can keep an eye out for me there too.

I've been happy with the Trooper so far. I intentionally only played Empire during beta so as to not ruin the story for Launch. Having now experienced the opening chapters for the Inquisitor, Agent, Bounty Hunter, and Trooper, I have to say the Agent's was my favorite so far (a very nuanced story) and look forward to experiencing the rest down the road when I'm ready for an alt.

The Trooper was happily not far behind in quality (though, the first twist, was a little predictable) as compared to the Bounty Hunter's early twist. The BH was a lot more unexpected, turning your "get quest, do quest, turn in quest" expectations on its ear just as you get into the familiar rhythm.

I am very glad about this because I was really disappointed with the linearity and predictability of the Inquisitor's story. The Inquisitor was the first one I experienced and as a result I was worried BioWare's dramatic flair was going to be reduced to simple linear plot points to make it fit the MMO mold.

Sorry about that. It should be fixed now.

When you're adding new characters and you click Submit, the form might not close as it should. It'll sit there and say "Please Wait". If that happens, just click the close the form with the Close button. You can refresh the character list to make sure your character add was successful.

Hmmm.... I was wondering why this was such an attractive game.
