Re: Our new server
Yay! I think that sounds cool. Named after a weird Alien bar! Kinda fitting. Only the word could be something easier to pronounce. ^^
I still need to be switched over from Knights to Lords. I missed the window apparently.
If we missed the cutoff for the early guild deployment do we just wait till we can log in to the game and whisper an officer for an invite or is there a process for doing that through the website before that point?
(I know, I'm like the little 8 year old jumping up and down outside the toy store waiting for it to open)
It's a toxic Cantina from KOTOR. I'm a nerd. But it's better than my friends guild, they got assigned to Space Slug server :P
Not every guild we were chained with has made it. We lost The Prismatic Order, not sure what the full list was as that part of the website seems to be down. But I know they were grouped to us.
Amazon.com still havnt shipped...
wont. till the 16th

Also is SW:TOR using the same Vent as Star Trek Online? or are we using another VOIP solution?
According to swtor.com there are 63 pre-built guilds on the server.
Adding up the numbers of members in each guild pre-launch we have
1239 Empire players in 30 guilds.
2387 Republican players in 33 guilds.
This gives the server a 2:1 faction imbalance favoring the Republic.
Also on server are Rough Trade and taint.

I'll show you my space slug if you show me yours... ;)
That seems like it woulda been a good fit.
So, I understand we don't have a guild bank or ship/hall/cantina at launch.
To be clear, my understanding is
a) they plan on adding dual speccing AFTER launch
b) it will be limited to the skill trees within your AC. So a Consular Sage can't have a Consular Shadow dual spec, but CAN have say a Sage Healer and a Sage DPS dual spec.
Nice! That's exactly the way I was hoping it would work. I learned the hard way during beta that our commitment to an AC is permanent! (which is why I had to level a 2nd Consular to try Sage instead of Shadow, oops)
I'm happy that it is something to be included even if we won't have it at launch. Heck, we need some time anyway to experiment with our talents and get to know our play style.
This link has been very useful to me lately, btw:
