Re: Preparing for SWTOR - Naming your characters
Dang, those are way dirtier than any I came up with, and I wrote the list! Nice job, guys. I'm seriously laughing out loud.
I'm with you. It's hard to judge. I've been thinking I'd focus on Armormech (and probably Synthweaving) because you gain a lot just by being able to craft gear for your companions especially if you have alts, but I don't think it will be as lucrative as Biochem because of the comsumables. And I keep coming back to Cybertech too. Ugh.
The first invites get sent out @ 7am EST on the 13th, and I don't go in until 11am that morning so I'm praying for an invite that morning so I can get my character created before heading into work. I won't start playing him until I get home that night but I want him created and named.
As an update to everyone! We should get information on what Server we will be located on Monday!
Direct from the Offical SWTOR twitter feed:
"@SWTOR: Eager to find out what server your #SWTOR Guild will be placed on? Your Guild HQ update is coming on Monday!"
It's almost here exciting!!!!!!

For those that preordered, they could apply to either Knights of Stonewall or Lords of Stonewall guilds on the SWTOR site.. Bioware is going thru the process of putting these guilds (and presumably their allies and enemies) on the same server. However, they locked it on December 1st or 2nd. We don't know yet what server they'll put us on.
Fear not though, as soon as we know, I'm sure it will be plastered over half the forums. As soon as you log in and create a toon, I'm sure there will be folks on that can get you an invite ingame.
Hope this helps.
The money for Biochemists will most likely come primarily from stims and adrenals. Raiders and PvPers will gobble them up, and they'll keep needing more. It's like being a dealer.
Nick, if you didn't use a gradient to colors those, what did you use?
I used the select tool to select 6 rectangles of equal size and colored them according to the gay flag, then adjusted it to fit the symbols and deleted the excess.
