interesting points. It may be more a fps thing, but also, many people say you don't really realize how sluggish the regular keyboards and mice are until you try the ones for gaming.

Also, there are cool features like extra buttons on the side of the mouse or special configurable buttons on the kb, which can be great to have.
I haven't figured it out yet though, still researching.

Leviathan server was offline last night when I tried. The people on Cosmic Turbine server were alleging that Leviathan players were trolls. :p

I use my laptop's keyboard (and a tiny mouse that came with my previous laptop). Never noticed any such problem while playing games. The only key combos are the number keys with shift, ctrl and alt. There are no other fancy key combos necessary in mmorpg's. Maybe it's a fps thing?

I currently play LOTRO. I took me one year to level my one toon from zero to level 65. I don not expect it will take me a lot less to get to level 50 in SWTOR. I'm not a raider/PVP-er, for me the fun is in the levelling. When i reached level cap in LOTRO i got bored with it. It's now fun again levelling to 75.

I'm an explorer by nature so I like to make sure I've covered nooks and cranies:)

Thanks, that's a cool program. It said I passed the minimum specs. I may still get a new video card, but I think I will wait and see how the game runs with what I have now. I appreciate the help! :)

Kevin I've seen a bunch of people say they are on the Leviathan server (can't remember off the top of my head) it was in another post though. Quick question did you just get the invite?

Ah yes I'm starting out as Republic. So once I make the Republic character once I'm ready for the Sith how do I go about getting an invite?

I got access to the beta and was wondering if anyone else was on right now? I'm on the Leviathan sever, look me up. The name is Xavian. And I plan on using this name when the game launches so nobody get any cute ideas. I will have a lightsaber and I'll know how to use it!
