I am unsurprised, but still quite happy to see another actor accept the responsibility of this mantle on the public stage. it's more difficult than most realize, and it just makes him that much hotter.

I prefer tanking and dpsing, but I'm finding it's not so hard to be a healer in this game.

The small party size helps. :3

I play mostly (read only) on my Bounty Hunter right now.

I had known he was gay. A friend of mine had met him at a gay club here in LA when he was on 'So Notoryous'

Actor Zachary Quinto reveals he is gay and that having starred in the AIDS-themed play Angels in America made him realize he's lucky, in a new profile in New York magazine.

In the profile titled "What's Up Spock," Quinto calls his eight-month stint as conflicted Louis in Angels both “the most challenging thing I’ve ever done as an actor and the most rewarding.”

Quinto recalls the impact the play had on him personally. “Doing that play made me realize how lucky I was to be born when I was born and to not have to witness the decimation of an entire generation of amazingly talented and otherwise vital men,” he says.

“And at the same time, as a gay man, it made me feel like there’s still so much work to be done, and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed.”

Last October while appearing in the landmark play, Quinto filmed an emotional video for the "It Gets Better" campaign, aimed at ending the antigay bullying epidemic that had caused numerous suicides.

During the new interview Quinto responds to what New York describes as "the cultural bipolarity that can see gay marriage legalized in New York in the same year that yet another gay teenager, Jamey Rodemeyer, was bullied and killed himself,' Quinto says, “And again, as a gay man I look at that and say there’s a hopelessness that surrounds it, but as a human being I look at it and say ‘Why? Where’s this disparity coming from, and why can’t we as a culture and society dig deeper to examine that?’ We’re terrified of facing ourselves.”

Quinto is currently in theaters in a small role in the comedy What's Your Number? and will be seen later this month as a gay man in the FX series American Horror Story. His next film Margin Call, which he co-produced and in which he costars with Kevin Spacey, will open October 21.

The 34-year-old actor, who’s currently starring in a story arc on FX’s American Horror Story, spoke to the magazine about his eight month stint in Angels in America, saying, “as a gay man, it made me feel like there’s still so much work to be done, and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed.”

I am starting as a Smuggler Scoundrel I like the idea of kicking an opponent in the nuts and shooting from the hip. The galaxy will learn not to mess with this straight shootin bad ass.

I'm not one for Alts really so this character will be my one true focus. Lets hope he's everything I want him to be. Otherwise I am switching to Gunslinger.

I believe I read that since studies show most people like dps, they are making all classes pretty dps-y, and not much dps may be lost by doing healz or tanking classes. I don't know if that is true, but it certainly makes playing the non-dps classes more attractive.

LOL! Seriously, though, I am leaning toward Jedi Consular or Jedi Knight but knowing my proclivity for making alts, I am sure I will eventually wind up with one of each class. :P

I think I'll start with a DPS trooper, though I haven't decided which advanced class I'll go with. I like the BFG the commando has, but the vanguard would be better for survivability in PvP.

My main is gonna be IA sniper for DPS, a glass cannon. :evil:

So clearly there is a huge popularity to the jedi, but what role (ie. in the advanced class) you going for? (tank, healer, dps)

for me, at this point I think I'm gonna start with a healz smuggler (scoundrel) and a tank jedi consular (shadow), and a dps jedi knight (sentinal). um in that order. I put smuggler first cause everyone and his gay uncle are playing consulars apparently.
