Haven't played it yet, [strike]but I am downloading it at the moment[/strike]. Will buy it in the future though. Those games are worth their money, but Fallout 4 has higher priority with me at the moment :P

Nvm, can't find a torrent that I trust or they have no seeds.

Edit: Ah, that explains it, it hasn't been released for pc yet...

What type of STO player are you?

October 27 2015
I guess I am both an achiever and an explorer. Sometimes I just try out new thing I didn't get the chance to know before... But I am also an accolade hunter and, believe me, the sound of a new acco popping up is one of the sweetest sounds in STO :D

I'm mostly an achiever and an explorer (although sometimes it can take me years before I start trying to do a certain part of a game, especially when it seems complicated). When it comes to STO though, I'm also quite a lot there to socialise, so I guess socialiser fits me too.

Extra Credits had a couple interesting videos about the types of players in MMORPGs:

The types are: achievers (like to do well at the game in its stated goals), explorers (like to experience new things in games), socializers (there to hang out), and killers (including trolls, people who play the game to show their dominance over others).

From my experience with MMOs (limited as it is), it seems like STO has far fewer killers than other games and somewhat fewer achievers, and more explorers (I would include casual players who just want to try everything once here) and socializers than other games.

I'm probably more of an achiever. What about you guys?

Guild Hall Capturing Event

October 24 2015
We need to find out some availability on when to go after our guild hall now that the expansion has launched. The majority vote online at the time was for the Gilded Hallow, so we will be going after that. However we need some heads, lets hear from you guys about when you want to do it. And we will see what we can do.

I didn't include Halloween since its well Halloween. please post times you think you might be available too and we will see what the widest margin is for setting up an event.

Recruitment

We are still recruiting people, in fact we have been making an effort to get more people online of late.
While we have republic and imperial fleets we seem to be leaning towards imperial side.

well for anyone looking to recruit me, i can give you my characters names to whisper me if i'm online (i'll be on one of them, and i can easily switch to my others to get them all added once you get ahold of me)

Imperial:

Zashela (sith inquisitor)
Ansheba (sith warrior)
Isma-an (imperial agent)

Republic:

Chati'tha (Trooper)
Ailacin (Smuggler)
Nel'nalmi (Jedi Consular)

oh and also, i tend to log on in the late afternoon and evening hours eastern time, so thats the best time to get ahold of me

[Event] Halloween Fright Night!

With the Halloween event coming next weekend... we should start preparing spooky snacks to nibble on at our desks while we join in the days fun, and let out cats sit near the screen and glare at us!!

Ive posted this up before... but i wouldnt mind giving it a go and seeing what they turn out like!

Maybe you can Find.. or think up some Halloween fun and easy snacks to make.. Post your ideas or recipes that you normally do at Halloween.. even childhood memories of spooky party foods.. post some pics even!

its nothing to do with the event..
I revert back to being a kid again this time of year..

Release Date for SWTOR: Knights of the Fallen Empire

I read it as all 4 to earn early access as well. When I get home time to patch up I guess.

Release Date for SWTOR: Knights of the Fallen Empire

October 20 2015
I read it as the "Early Access Bonus Reward" is for those who were subscribed on all 4 of the monthly subscriber reward dates. To make it even more confusing, the first reward deadline was extended from July 31 to August 10, so I think either date works for that one.

http://www.swtor.com/fallen-empire/rewards
To qualify for the Early Access Bonus, you must have qualified for each of the four rewards by being a subscriber on each of the 4 listed reward dates. Once you qualify you may enter and play Knights of the Fallen Empire on October 20, 2015, seven (7) days prior to live launch on October 27, 2015.

It's all clear as mud, right? That's why I expanded a bit on what Sej wrote. I expect there will be a lot of confused/angry subscribers tomorrow who aren't eligible for Early Access...

Release Date for SWTOR: Knights of the Fallen Empire

October 20 2015
Quote by pnuttbuttah

Knights of the Fallen Empire content is only available to players who are eligible for the four Knights of the Fallen Empire subscriber rewards by having been a subscriber on August 10th, August 31st, September 30th, and October 19th, 2015. All other subscribers will be able to access the content on October 27th, 2015.

So if someone has received two or one of those rewards does that mean they don't get early access, or if someone has 1 to 4 of those rewards that they can get earlier access?

Cause im reading it as, those who have subscribed from "August 10th to October 19th, 2015" are eligible for early access. I hope i'm not miss reading this,
