She's an elected official, so the only way she can be removed from her position is through a vote on impeachment by the state congress, which in a state like KY that is deeply conservative...that just won't happen.

She's said she won't quit, and she'll sit in jail "for as long as it takes."

There are times for religious debate and everyone has a right to their beliefs. But Kim Davis is an officer of the government, and you just have to cut through the bullshit and say "Hey. You took an oath, and part of that oath is doing your job while following the law. You're doing neither, and you're ignoring a precedent set by the highest fucking court in the land. You can do your job, or you can resign or go to jail."

So for now, jail it is while she stands firm and won't resign.

The issue with getting her to either quit or removed from her position as a county clerk is that the government cant do it. She has to quit willingly and/or a person from the Kentucky county official can remove her from office, if i am not mistake?

The problem i just see is that people who are in positions of power whether it be a county clerk, a boss at starbuck or any position where there's a power of authority involved, they just don't get it that they sometimes have to leave their issues, beliefs and/or predisposition of personal judgement at home, at the door when they are involving themselves with communities.

Her defense was a lie on top of a lie, and she knows that but even if she admits the truth, she is going to be looked upon as the person who stopped something due to religious reasons. And those are hard to change when one has grown on principal where their beliefs can be hurtful, whether it be a minority or not.

Religion is very tabooish of topic in my books, hard to talk about especially when involving the developmental side of things from birth to adulthood.

If the just gave her the fee someone would pay it off for her and she wouldn't learn. As much as open ended jail time leaves a bad taste in my mouth, it has to be done.

Tour the Galaxy can get about 350,000EC, it is a daily and can be done per character.

Doing Foundry missions for the loot drops is another way, can get about 200,000-800,000 per toon if you are lucky with the drops (though they did revalue some so 800,000 might be reaching now).

The key to anything in this game is using multiple toons.

Tour the galaxy is a good way to make a bit of ec. Otherwise selling drops is the way to go. Also selling the level 15 R&D items is an option. And finally quick cash by buying keys or ship modules using zen and selling. But obviously that requires real investment or a boat load of dilithium.

Just a general question, cause I saw that someone has like 25million credits to give away. I'm not asking for any, no worries. I'm just curious to know what I should be doing mission-wise to get boat loads of credits. I'm sitting at like 500,000 and every mission I do just gives me gear and the only credits I seem to be getting is from selling stuff.

Is there something I'm missing? What are these mythical quests that give out credits?

I have no idea what the actual first game was. Friends had an Amstrad CPC or Sinclair Spectrum.

I finally managed to beg my parents into getting something similar which led to a Commodore 64 with a few games like Ghostbusters 2 and something called Oh No. It was a space rustling game. Your cows were glowing orbs and the rustlers were essentially just brackets that would surround and carry the orb away unless you managed to shoot them in time.

I decided to make authentic hasperat. Pickled brine cabbage with hot peppers and cayenne. I layered spinach, roasted red peppers, banana peppers, and added chive cream cheese.

It's honestly the most delicious thing ever.

So we're at it again, the Livestreams are returning September 19th at 3:00 PM Eastern time.

Moving forward the Livestreams will be hosted by the Office of the Shipwrights which is a joint venture between Combat Operations and Tactical Readiness.

Last time we did a Science Ship Livestream, Milmar wasn't able to join us because it was allegedly his "birthday" and we haven't heard the end of it since.
