I have a very dim view of lgbt tolerance in society, and gathering us all up in one place is heading dangerously close to either reviving the concentration camps, or at least doing an x-mutant "mutie scum" segregation, the only problem with that is, as far as I know, not one lgbt person is able to heal from being brutally beaten or burned to death by someone they trust.


I want to be wrong on this, but I can't help but fear the worst, I mean, we have cases that get noticed like luka magnotta, or jordan sheard, how many get swept under the rug by someone that feels we deserved that fate?

I am in two minds over this it could potentially avoid bullying but it could be counterproductive for integrating LGBT people into society as a whole.

I was watching The Social on our Dining room TV at work and all of a sudden they bring this topic up. Now this is a topic that reminds me of a past topic we discussed about a LGBT village or town. This is something I feel is a great idea. It will help minimize the bullying of LGBT kids of all ages. Bullying for me started when I was in grade 3 and I didnt know why people were doing that. If this was around when I was starting High School I believe I would go into that school. Since there is all girl schools and all boy schools there should be all LBGT Schools and I aprove :)

True, it would be a bit much of an overhaul of a ship build system.

But that said, nothing ventured nothing gained is what i say.

The idea i had was essentially you start off in the miranda class or career specific class ship and you build upon that, with each level. Once you have obtained the next rank, the ship design would open up to further customization of the look of the ship and access to other things (consoles, weapon armaments and so on).

This essentially would be like mixing R&D with the upgrade system for parts and commodities and maybe specialized slots for special items as such, the tempest rail gun weapon or console specific to that ships like cloaking or the other gold consoles.

Again this is just an idea. Whether or not its valuable or not is a completely different question all together.

So, like - a rebuild of the ship build system?

I mean, they've overhauled some game systems, crafting, reputation gear - and we're still seeing balance aftershocks from at least a few of those. I don't think any of those would be as fundamental to the operation of the game.

I've never liked STO's build system as much as I preferred Bridge Commander or Starfleet Command's. But that's one ship, I expect, has sailed.

I had a feeling that Cryptic would be concerned about the ratio of how many people are using the T6 to T5-U ships to be honest but that said, there possibly a way to get people involved with these T6 ships.

But i personally would love to see a different means or way of ship building which i personally think could be a sight worth seeing , but than again not everyone would love that idea, but hey what can one do.

Mind you, i do have other thoughts of what i think has happened as such... but thats a different things all together.

Well, I suppose they have to recoup their profit margins somehow since I stopped buying Lock Box keys! :lol:

But even a ship-phile like me is fast approaching my satiation point. If they started creating micro transactions for additional ship upgrades/customization/skins for what we already have, that might tempt me.
