STONEWALL AT SEA DEC 2013

January 07 2013
Last week I announced plans for STONEWALL at SEA 2013.
I believe there is enough interest to continue.
December 2013 come spend a 4 day Bahamas cruise with fellow fleet members, spend time with old friends, make new friends and enjoy sharing adventures. We have several ideas for events specifically for the fleet. Among these would be reserving a conference room where we could play games together, as well as possibly a presentations from fleet members, also social events like a Costume event. These are just a few of the possibilities we have in mind.
We present you with 3 cruise options for December and a time frame we have laid out in 3 phases.
Each of these options has a different itinerary and should be affordable for most.

Taxes cannot be quoted until a date is decided upon. Excursions and off ship activities can be found on the Excursions link below each itinerary.

The CSA Travel Insurance is optional but very highly recommended for all travelers.
Additional passengers (3rd and 4th) in a stateroom are at a reduced rate than the rates show.

This is great information Sinner, thanks much. Before I vote I've got to run this by the BF and I have a few questions. I would be leaning towards the earlier-in-December options because I think the air fare would be cheaper than it would be closer to the Holidays. Do you know if these cruise lines offer any sort of discount when you bundle air fare?

can definitely find out about airfare deals if any.
Best Options Airfare is to find the online specials.we woul have plenty of time to serach and book.Airfare is much higher when left to the cruiseline to make arrangements

Does it have to be a bahamas cruise?

I voted for option 2 because it's easiest to fly without a connection into Miami than any of the other departure cities. It also has the most stops.

Port Canaveral is a straight shot west from Orlando, I Live in Orlando so if we go option one and people need a ride to and from the airport I'm sure I can carpool and wrangle a few of my minions to help out.

I voted two but if WhiteOnmyoji can give me a ride I'm just as amenable to option one.

I'm amenable as well, how many people can you ferry to the port in time to make the boat?

It takes about an hour to get from MCO to Port Canaveral so if I'm ferrying I would like to make my departure from MCO no later than 1330.

But as far as capacity, I can fit 4 people comfortably and 5 if you squeeze in a bit.

I know there's a few fleeties that live in the FL area that might also make the ferry so you guys don't have to take the god awfull shuttle

Thats why I'm voting for #2... It's much easier for people to fly from all over the country/world directly to the city of departure. Instead of to a city over an hour away by shuttle.

Yeah perhaps but it's my OCD need to arrange carpools, it comes from my jewish side

Bummer. I'm still in school until the 21st. Doubt the principal would like me taking off just before break.

I am for both the first 2 options as they have multiple ports of call with fun stuff to do. As for the room, not an issue with me as I like the inside as the hum lets you sleep better. What other add-ons can we get? When I went for a company outing last year, they got the cheap rooms, but got the alcohol included in the package. That way you saved your on board account from breaking the bank.

Any way of doing that?

Is WiFi expensive on cruises? I also tried looking on the Royal Caribbean site and couldn't find an options for discounting airfare if you bundle.
