[EVENT] Little Winter Parties - Pikkujoulut

To help us get all wintery, the Morale Department are adapting the Finnish tradition of little Winter Parties, pikkujoulut, for the space age. We will be hosting not one, not two, but THREE themed little Winter parties during the run up to the holidays.
So, what’s the deal?
Each Little Winter Party, or pikkujoulut, is about 3-4 hours long. We are hosting them at different times so that everyone should be able to attend at least one!
First, we have a little boogie. And just like the office party you’ll be silently judged on your dancing skills and choice of outfit (only we give out prizes). Then it’s time for Secret Santa, in which everyone should bring one small present to give away. Yay presents xD - Then, may the odds be ever in your favour, as we have some small competitions. After that, we launch into Battlezones. ‘Cos Carnage is always fun !
So Why Battlezones?
Because they don’t get much love! Yack Ground... Yack Grind … Yack Repetition.
BUT they can be super fun and super easy AND these are quick ways to get Borg Neural Processors, Voth Cybernetic Implants, Isomorphic Injections, Ancient Power Cells, and other bits and pieces. They are also cross-faction and unlocked at level 50 (we’ll get to the specifics later).
We encourage you to bring along an Klingon or an alt toon! You don’t have to be super-dooper expert-y, this is just for fun! So for those who have never tried them, or pugged it once and vowed never to return, or are grinding an alt. This is a great opportunity to give it another whack with experienced fleet members and finish off those reputation systems or get that kit you’ve always wanted !

Secret Santa
In order to participate in the Secret Santa, you should bring a present to give to one other person. It doesn’t have to be expensive, but it would be better if you brought a little something more exciting than dead Gagh.
How it works: You mail the item to Cai or you give the present to him in a private trade before / during the roll call, he makes a list, checks it twice, and then hands out the presents to all.
Tardiness: If you turn up after the presents have started to be given out, please PM Cai before the competitions starts. If two or more are late, then that’s pretty easy. However, if there is only you, then Santa might have something in his sack.
Competitions: These are small scale and just for fun. There is only one prize for each.
Competition One: This is fairly self-explanatory.
Competition Two: Beautify or theme your ship somehow.
Competition Three: This requires ZERO preparation, so don’t worry.
Themes: Dress according to the theme, use your imagination. Although, with all the Parties we know that half the people ignore the theme and the other half go overboard. There will be random spot prizes ;)
