Hello there!
I am rank Envoy in Diplomacy and got my first First Contact mission lately from Jiro Surosomething. I did the mission, I liked it and I'd love to do more since I am focusing on reaching rank 4. But I seem to be unable to get them. Jiro on ESD gives me only Diplomatic Investigations. How do I get more First Contact missions? The article on the gamepedia doesn't answer this question :(
And btw, is there anything else I can do to earn Diplomacy XP? I try to do assignments that appear simply in the assignments choices, but maybe there is a hidden way to get better ones? Sometimes I click the head of departments tab, then First Officer assignments, but it has usualy just the Entertain Foreign Dignitaires assignment.

The ship design looks likes a combination of Akira and Galaxy design features. Not an exact feature of those two ships type but there are some similarities...

Perpetual Entertainment. When Perpetual Entertainment went belly up and Cryptic got the rights, they also got all of the intellectual property from PE, including the alpha game engine that had created, but the threw everything out cause they wanted to use their engine, except for some artwork.

You can actually see this ship ingame. When you warp into many sector defends, you'll see this ship broken and abandoned near the spawn point, as kind of a nod towards the PE STO.

If you look at it's hull it looks like the Atrox.

Swordsman it seems to be a more magical version of Age of Wushu.

/u/dproeder from Reddit made this Guide Map of GW2. I think it can be helpful for some of us with new characters to quickly explore Tyria! It can also help with getting some waypoints for guild missions. Happy exploring!

Well, you pretty much have to seat a tactical BOFF in that Lt. Cmndr universal station. Kind of scary, since you'd be able to equip Torpedo spread 3 and Beam Overload 3... pretty insane damage potential there as well as high healing potential with Engineering team 3.

Oh power creep... how you make Cryptic lots of money!

That is one killer boff setup on the fleet version. :whistle:

Definitely looks like the Perpetual Excalibur, with a slight twist.

that does look like it.....

that looks a lot like one of the original concept ships they had when the game was first announced.

I think it was the concept for the Excalibur Class.
