You would think he'd realize it would be of benefit to his company to just keep his damn mouth shut and sell his product. Instead, he's getting bad press for being an uninformed chode and trying to walk back his statement.

Had my hubby dispose of all the Barilla products in the house. The fact that he doesn't want gays in his commercials is one thing but this guy is just so 1950's. Between the commercials and his idea of women in the kitchen...he can go $%&^ himself.

I'm still bumming around on Lamia server. >.> Lv 40 Dragoon, though, and made some really nice friends. :D In a nifty Free Company called "Balamb Garden" and am in a nice Linkshell called Circle of Trust. :) The FC is one of the nicer guilds to accept me as a member and I do more with them than many other guilds I've joined. ^.^ I'm quite happy. :)

I'm excited about the Vent chat! It looks like ANet would like continued updates on what we think about releases and other opinions about the game. I'll probably add a separate Topic for SWVG members to voice their opinions and feedback or I may create surveys to easily collect and forward information to them. We'll be going over that during our next commanders meeting. Until then, feel free to reply in this topic.

I saw this story linked from several friends on FB today. I'm a little sad because I like their pasta sauce, but I'm not going to support their company if they're making statements like this. :angry:

Guess I'll be shopping for a new pasta brand this weekend!

This kind of stuff doesn't usually bother me, but I actually buy Barilla pasta! I think I'll be switching to another brand, regardless of their apology.

I have to get used to the mmo aspect of this game. I'm used to playing Final Fantasy as a regular non mmo game and so I find that having people around doing silly things at times ruins the gravitas of Final Fantasy. It feels like a circus at times but then again STO is a circus and I put up with that however I'm having fun with my character :)

My ship names were named after terms relating to time.

Prometheus Class: U.S.S. Clairvoyance (The ability to see the through time)

Odyssey Tactical: U.S.S. Paradox (An loop in time with no beginning or end)

Mobius Temporal Destroyer: U.S.S. Paradox-D (Same as above plus D, everyone loves the D)

Armitage Fleet Heavy Carrier: U.S.S. Chronos-A (A God of Time
Delta Flyer Shuttle: U.S.S. Predestination (A type of temporal paradox)

Many other but all follow the same naming habit.
