Welcome to Stonewall

Hi!

I've played STO fairly consistantly since beta and am an LTS. I went on hiatus from the game shortly after the Iconian War concluded but I've recently dusted off the center chair on my bridge. I have a couple of characters lingering in the Priority One fleet and one in the r/STO Reddit fleet. I'm looking for a permanent home/community to focus on so if need be I can relocate those characters here, I have have quite a few... I'm a professed alt-oholic. I focus mostly on my FED ROM ENG, FED ENG, and FED SCI but I recently started leveling a Temporal Agent on my return (I've been having a lot of fun with it) and I started a new ROM TAC. I would consider my Romulan characters my mains; I'm a major fan of the Republic.

I've been a Trek fan since I was a kid, probably like a lot of folks. My favorite series are TNG, DS9 and VOY. I work in IT, like comics and various other Sci-Fi IPs. I've got a cat. My @handle is @Captain_Shephard and the character I was looking to join on is my FED/ROM TAC Varil.

I enjoy being collaborative as well, primarily because I like involving people so that they have a degree of personal investment in whatever project. I tend to hope that others get their stuff done but I also tend to have a plan B just in case ;)

Indeed, and I think that is great to have both and a blend of those two leadership styles. Regarding the boss idea -yes! Let's do it! How do it like your coffee sir LOL

I'd been thinking about getting the game for a while, but I've been thinking about really shaking up my gaming experience, and am planning to pick up NBA 2K17 instead. Big reason is the massive amount of customization added into this version. And, sadly, my gaming budget, and more importantly, gaming time, is limited.

Awww, Well, this test is great for some fine-tuning, It's nice that you both can come together and share different leadership styles. It's always handy to have a variety of styles for certain projects :D

I scored a 27. So I'm right on the cusp of the middle one and the third one.

At the Vegas convention, I mentioned to a few people about my love for the Myers Briggs personality test and would be curious how people in the fleet would rank with that and if there would be a correlation here with this test and its scoring. Maybe next month's exercise could be to do an online version of that. None of these free tests are official but this would be just for fun anyway. I've just always liked how it helps to explain how people act, which helps me know better ways to interact with those personality types.
