Yeah this is my reward for finishing my papers on time... and I have a month - 2 months to wait for STO, so I will fly around in EVE for a bit :D

Just at work, but found a post about a GLBTA channel in EVE. For those playing might be a good way to meet corps or other players.

Oh! I'm so glad you found it!

I started the GLBTA Channel a few years ago. Theres a good group of people in there.

Click on the button on the left called Mailing Lists and Chat. Then Click on the Chat tab and enter "GLBTA Channel" into the search. It should be the only one to come up. Right click it and choose join.

And enjoy my lovely Rainbow Flag MOTD.

All of the fun I had in Eve was due to corp mates, which is what the game is all about, but I've had more fun in STO on the first day then I ever had in Eve playing solo. This game is fun! :)

You see I have this issue. I when inactive for some time in Eve and my corp kicked me, fair enough. But when I started playing again, my corp had left the alliance, the alliance dissolved, and I'm stuck floating in a 0.0 station I can't leave. So I decided to quit. I think that lasted a month. Now I justify it by saying "I'm just selling off my stuff".

It is addictive.

I am an avid Eve player, so drop Arunis Miriabilis a line in game sometime. Also, my corp Agony Unleashed, offers PVP classes ranging from basics to advanced tactics (armor HACs, stealth bombing, etc), so feel free to check those out :)

EVE is one of the games in my game hopping rotation. I usually pop in for a few weeks or a month a couple times a year.
In EVE I'm Valkriss, a miner and occasional ship builder. I can't recall the system I've been operating in...it's a few jumps from Lustravik...hmmm.

I used to play EvE but kinda got tired of the wash/rinse/repeat mentality of their PvE missions. You only fought one type of enemy (Space Pirates) and the last 'rat' you destroyed always had the item you needed to complete the mission.

I did read, however that the next expansion was going to be their most elaborate yet - a better character generator and the ability to explore starbases. When that happens I may give the game another shot. :)
