Re: EVE Online
I just resubbed to EVE Online. I've been wanting to check out some of their recent additions like Planetary Interaction.
After logging in for the first time in over a year, I was blown away by the new character creator. Before, your character was just represented in-game with an Avatar, basically just a jpeg, but now as they get ready to allow people to get out of their ships and walk around, they've completely redone their character technology with something they call Carbon and I'm pretty impressed with it.
My character sans clothes:
Modifying how your character looks is really interesting too. Instead of the usually sliders most games have, you hover your mouse over muscle groups or bone structures and you're able to adjust them by dragging your mouse up/down or left/right.
I'm also really impressed with Planetary Interaction. The planets look amazing! You can now scan them, find minerals on them, and build colonies on them to mine and process the ore on them.
