Gay Test

I've gotta say, I'm a little offended by this.

Although, I find it very ironic, that the computer on the right is an Dell XPS system that's the same model I have exactly. Down to the IR Receiver on top of the tower.

I personally don't see what's offensive about it. Maybe because I don't even really get the picture...stereotyping that all gay guys like pretty things maybe? :P

I'm rather offended by it, because it implies I'm straight for owning a computer that's actually worth a damn! :P I mean, yes, stereotypes exist for a reason, and yes, the gays I know have a disproportionately high rate of Mac ownership. But still, that's no reason to go insulting me and saying that simply because I like to screw guys that I'm going to waste money on a POS computer designed by a cult.

Naw, I just don't like it cuz it's saying it's bad news to be gay. It's one of the many bazillions of slights we get as gay people, that somehow we're "lesser" or "damaged" or "lacking" in some day for being gay. That somehow we're "less than ideal" or "imperfect" for being gay.

That somehow "straight" is the ideal that we should all strive for, and being gay means you have failed in some way.

Pisses me off.

This is why I didn't like it... Although I thought the concept was vaguely amusing...

I'm a bit offended, yes, but how funny it is to laugh at stupid f*'ing people is the true payoff. ;) Honestly though, satire is satire, never read too much into it.

I am, however, somehow reminded of this clip:

lol! Thanks Nick, I love you too. :D

EDIT: And wow, I totally just realized it said 'bad news' and not just 'news'. Now I'm really fucking pissed off.
