FF XIV anyone?

awe, ya i got lucky. it finally let me in yesterday morning... they may be letting the people in get ahead so the newb zones are completely crowded. as of last night i couldnt find 3 Rats to kill because EVERYThing was dead... except DoDos, which 1 shot you HAH!

well i got to create a character but I never got it to log into the world. and now today theres a new patch and it gets stuck at like 94% so I cant get into the game :(

ok i got the game to work :woohoo: the graphics are pretty amazing and the game intro is interesting and kind of amusing :)

please look for me , toon will be named major west or Killhunter

Finally got accepted for beta but the download is the slowest download I have ever seen. See you ingame in a month or two.

Ugh, and thank goodness for that link. When I try to get to the beta tester site, it keeps telling me that only beta testers are allowed in, even though I can go one tab over and verify that the beta test account is active.

Though I'm only getting ~200kBps download on the big patch, going to take about 7 hours. >.

I bought a Used 360 controller from gamestop to try out with this game. Get it home and theres a major Short in the cord right where it connects to the controller (waaaay too common amongst used controllers from Gamestop). I dont even have a 360 lmao... gonna go exchange it today. This games too weird to play on a Keyboard/Mouse

I hear ya about kb playing. clumsy. I don't really feel like buying a controller at this point.

Well, i got a 360 controller, and i LOVE it. Thats just me. Im not a console gamer either... dont even own one haha.

Open your side menu, select the 'Return' option, it will teleport you back to the camp. thats about all i know :)

They can't be serious?! $3 per month, per extra character?! That's horrendous. Although at least it highlights how comparatively reasonable the C-Store is!

What i have been reading though, is that in FFXIV you only really need ONE character do do anything, and ONE retainer to sell... So i get it, but some of us just like to create characters...

If City of Heroes had done this, i would have been paying more for my online game then my monthy internet bill, lmao!!!

I'm not too worried about it. 12.99 base is still cheaper then other MMOs, and i could stick with one character if it meant spending money. About time they developed a cure for Alt-Itis! =D

I'm in open beta for Final Fantasy XIV and so far it is a very good game. I'm over at kupoknights.net.

WORST MMO EVER! Graphics are amazing....., controls are shit, UI is shit, game play is shit, quests are shit, combat is crap too! WoW!! I was so looking forward to this game for the past year. I am so disappointed it upsets my stomach.. Yes I know they are still in BETA but regardless the game feels like its being launched for the PC community to work out all the issues while they patch, fix and revamp all the known issues for PS3 launch in March 2011 on our dollar.

Well I'll see you all in DC Universe Online Beta.. Keep your fingers crossed it won't bomb like Champions Online.

It's funny, I've been accepted for 3 days now, I think, but I haven't been able to get the game started once. Latest issue is it saying it can't connect to check the version.

I'm feeling really disenchanted with this game, so far.

Hehe, ya i might have to agree. tried to give it a chance but... meh. its just clunky. even after playing with a controller, battles are still tough to target what you want... meh guess its back to occupying myself with DAO :P
