Star Trek IV the voyage home or WHALES in SPACE:-)

I really did enjoy this movie, in fact this was the first movie I saw which lead me back to watching the previous ones. Bu there is a clever piece of editing to wake you all up. We'll just say "It's an alternate universe" but a definite possible outcome of the USS Yorktown's hasty return to service. Enjoy

I love Star Trek IV, or "Star Trek Saves the Whales" as I like to call it. It is my favorite Star Trek movie, and I don't know why.

I have to agree, that ST:IV is one of my favs. The one liners alone are great. But if you ever get a chance to see the out takes, they're just awesome.

On a side note, Star Trek IV is my #1 favorite Trek film of all time. When I was a little kid, I would get up on a nice sunny summer morning, kick up my red LEGO enterprise, and just pop in my VHS recording of ST IV and just enjoy!

Plus, this is going to sound weird, but there are two 80's song from Genesis that remind me of Voyage home: "Invisible Touch" & "Take Me Home." Everytime I listen to Invisible Touch, I keep thinking it replacing the end credits, while I keep imagining Kirk singing "Take Me Home." @__@;
