Epic Fails :)

Hi fleeties!

Today we were talking about STFS on teamspeak and I remembered some fails I´ve produced, lol....


Two or three days ago in Hive Space Elite:

All of our team did a great job in the first part, we worked our way down from the top and blew up every sphere and cube in the allowed time. Then we were ready to do the second part.

I´ve just finished on teamspeak the sentence "only agro one unimatrix, begin with the left one!" and then... well... then I - without thinking - automatically clicked on Fire At Will (and agroed both unimatrix ships). End of Story, lol (sry again, team!)


A few weeks ago:

I wanted to call Fleet Support in KASE... why the heck does the button for Abandon Ship look so similiar??? --> Great fireworks... lol

Maybe you also have some funny stories to share? I´m looking forward to it! :)

My fails...

I deleted my Shard of Possibilities and my OMEGA Force Armor by accident >.>

Epic Fail:

decided to try something new, so i swapped my antiproton weapons to phaser weapons on my fleet avenger.......FAIL FAIL EPIC FAIL.....!!! LOL needless to say i went back to antiproton weapons on her....

And then there´s the moment when you realize that you just jumped into an ISE and all your traits are set for ground combat...

"Oh look, an embassy project needs embassy provisions. And I need fleet credits...BUY ALL THE PROVISIONS!!"

*5 seconds later*

"Oh, wait...F$*#!"

OMG where do I begin when us newbies have sooooooo many epic fails. When I first started this game my friend that got me started said you can get ships from lockboxes for this game. So I'm thinking cool and I buy a lot of keys from the C-Store to open these Voth Lockboxes I kept getting in the game. After the 20th or so box I get a Voth ship, wow I'm all excited especially since not having any real good ships in the game being very new. Matter in fact I was so new I was not even high enough level to even open the box with this ship in it. So several hundred dollars later I end up with a lot of mirror ships, weapons, duty officers I didn't even know what those were used for lol. I also ended up with these stupid Lobi crystals I had no idea what they were used for. Well over time now my bank is filling up and I have a purple weapon I can't use yet so I want to put it in my bank for safe keeping until I can use it. No room in my bank now what to do? Oh I have these stupid Lobi Crystals that don't seem to do anything but take up space and wow a little over 900 I'll sell them to a vendor maybe get a few EC for them. So I grab my Lobi crystals out and place my new shinny weapon in their place and off to the vendor. I try to sell them to the vendor but he won't offer anything for them, well guess I was right they really are worthless oh well I'll just hit discard and do away with them, yay now no more clutter from them. Then heartbreakingly later I go to Drozana station and find a Lobi Vendor, oh hey I remember those I got rid of them so I see what he has to sell. UGHHHHH nice ships for 800 Lobi yikes and I just vaporized mine. Oh the big mistakes us newbies make :(

Switching ships and forgetting to equip it or set up your Boffs. And then going into a pug STF.

I'll log in, collect the rewards for all my projects and go to start some new ones, when I realize that I'm low on marks. So I go run some mission and earn some more, then log off. Completely forgetting to actually start the new projects. I usually don't remember my mistake till the next day.

Intending to buy AP Turret Acc x2 and Dmg x2, thinks I click on it but the highlight never moves and I click buy

Go to inventory, looks for turret but this AP Beam Array Acc x2 and Dmg x2 is there...
Grim realization... RAGE

Camps SB project completion and converts Zen to Dil

Gets Fleet Credits

Selects AP Cannon Acc x2 and Dmg X2 and clicks buy

Searches inventory for shiny new turret... realizes it's a cannon ... RAGE

Opens a bunch of Doff packs... ohh a Tuffli and several purple doffs ... Shiny

Enslave Doffs to the starbase and holdings

Convinced 3rd times a charm... buys AP Cannon Acc X2 and Dmg X2 ... MEGA RAGE

Converts Zen to Dil, camps embassy project completion dumps dil into project.

SELECTS AP TURRET ACC X2 AND DMG X2 ... WIN!

I love the bug that sometimes unseats all your BOFFs and not noticing it because you are either in a ground area or didn't notice it when you accepted the STF invite and don't see it until you warp into the map. Oopsies.

1 min ago:

I visited battle group Omega and went my way to the U.S.S. Victory.

"Dang, what the....! Why don´t I have access to the bank or exchange? Did they patch it away?"

Erm... I was on my Klingon char... of course I couldn´t hail the Fed ships, lol
