Dungeon Runs

Would anyone be interested in joining a dungeon running team? I figure we could optimize our builds for dungeon running and have our teams of 5 usual players. I'm looking at Meta Battle and thinking about getting back to my ele and using one of their builds. I'd be interested in building one of the Meta Teams so we can tackle dungeons and fractals with ease.

Must be willing to re-roll if you're not built for dungeons and must use TeamSpeak. (You don't need to talk if you don't want to)

This can be very rewarding financially and hopefully we can make some close and lasting friendships.

I re-rolled my ele for the dungeon meta team and tested it out in CoF. Tons of damage, but I'm getting rolled over a bit much. I also need a few more upgrades (Runes, sigils). Once we get the team going we can bounce some ideas back and forth and fine-tune everything. Not enough people view the forums still, it seems. I'll post in guild chat and if you know anyone else interested, feel free to invite them.

Sounds good! I think I'll go with Mesmer or Guardian, I'll have to look up PvE meta builds

Whoa, I didn't know about that Phalanx Strength build. That's pretty awesome, I could totally run that on Warrior. I'd just need to get the runes.

If you'd rather run your mesmer, it looks like mesmer can replace guardian. We don't have to mimic the team-meta exactly. Just so we have a well-oiled machine running dungeons. :cheer:

I'll be doing my homework. I'm hoping that once we get our group(s) together, we'll all have our rolls so we can improve on them and make our runs as painless as possible.

hi there, new to GW2 here. i'm pretty low level, only 15 on my highest character. i have seen lots of world events so far but no dungeons / instances. what level do they become available? is it similar to wow or swtor where you can start a group and wait for people to accept and auto transfer to the instance?

The first dungeon is Ascalonian Catacombs at level 30. Only the party leader is tied to the instance, anyone else can drop in or out at any time.

I'd be more than happy to join as guardian or necromancer.

Our official dungeon running day is Wednesday at 6pm EST. It doesn't matter which dungeon we run for me... I would be fine running AC until you're able to progress to other dungeons.
