Introducing our New Fleet Uniforms!

All the votes are in and the polls have closed. After a careful counting, the winning designs have been selected:

Both these amazing designs were created by the same author, @WilliamJaneway! Please join me in congratulating him on his win!

Also, I'd like to recognize our runners up! @KnightChucky's Starfleet design and @Six-of-Nine's KDF design were both close seconds.

And now for the Prizes! The winner and two runner-ups will receive their own Vaadwaur Officer Uniform! This cross faction and unisex uniform makes it the perfect wardrobe option no matter the character.

Congratulations to the winner and the runners up! It's nice to bring our fleet uniform designs into the post Odyssey era and I'm excited to show mine off at fleet gatherings in the future! Fantastic new look for our fleets!

I was keeping a tally and F for KDF had 16 votes to A (winner) at 14
A is however more in tune with the Starfleet one to have a more consistent feel to it

Thanks for all the votes. It feels great coming in second for the KDF award. I had a lot of fun making the uniforms.

The Romulans are so limited in terms of options that are available for both factions at all levels of play that it was decided to forestall a decision for now. Perhaps Cryptic will recognize this issue with Romulan fleet uniforms and open up some more options.

Perhaps in the meantime we can have a competition for an "official un-official" romulan fleet uniform, that we'd make a guide for applying to your romulan character once they play the LoR missions enough to unlock the parts.

No! you should have fleet specific options, regardless of romulan republic or empire preference.... (if only we could do something like romulans in drag. :P)

Since we can set as up as many uniforms as we want for a given fleet (as far as I understand,) could it work that we set up both RomFed and RomKDF uniforms as options for the Legion uniforms, and then you just won't be able to load the options that aren't for your faction? We might have to test it on Tribble or some such.

unfortunately as the romulan uniforms are pretty much all content locked none are valid as fleet options and thus would have to be created manually by each member...

Do you think Cryptic didn't anticipate players wanting to create Romulan fleets when they created the uniforms? Granted, what they have and how it unlocks makes perfect sense for the Romulans' story arc. I guess that's the issue, figuring out how to strike a balance with things that make sense for a fleet and things that make sense for a new Romulan citizen.

No! drag is bad for my image, lol! Honestly, If we left the uniform option for just past the choosing of which side to be on there is a lot more room to negotiate. At the same time, and in a sense, we can use the presented information (Romulan w/o a real home for short) as a back story for the reason you're made to wait until the easy to reach level 10-12 for using a fleet uniform.

When will the uniforms be implemented into the fleet? I'm eager to get one on,
