The New Fleet Armada System

Soo I am totally loving the new Armada system and I am absolutely IN LOVE with the new research station (starts moving her stuff in). I've also noticed a new surge in members. If we keep this up we'll need an armada for our armada. :laugh:

So what's going on with the armadas? Have people talked to other fleets about joining ours? I'm thinking of the other LGBT fleets - the LGBT of the X order fleets, LGBT elite of the 1st order, Mattachine Fleet, even the German HLBT fleet - or other fleets that are friendly that people might know.

Also, what about HONR? Are there any other LGBT KDF fleets in the game? Are there plans to join an armada there?

I just met Tia in-game last night and she's really cool, and what's also really cool is that her fleet needs lots of fleet marks and I have almost 20K between my toons saved up because they're hard to donate to Stonewall fleets :). Plus it's cool to reach out to other people in the game.

Also, I like how I can donate doffs more easily. I often buy cheap blue doffs from the exchange, grind them down to white doffs at the academies, and then donate them to the fleet, but that's been hard lately with DSS and HONR only needing science and medical doffs (which means I fill my ranks and my exchange slots with the other doffs and can't grind any more).

Anyway, I'm not doubting the fleet admiralty here - I'm sure they've already thought about all this. I just want to be in the loop as to what plans are. :)

[strike]We will definitely communicate any decisions made with regards to fleet concerns as well as any alliances with other fleets that are made under the new armada system. For the moment as the immediate focus, we're looking at what we can do with our existing fleets within Stonewall to ensure the best flow of resources throughout all 4 fleets. Doing so will give the leadership a better understanding on how to move forward under the new mechanics.

So far we have the 5 Fed Stonewall Fleets added into the Armada already. We joined up Joint Operations Command Nimbus Sector yesterday. Check out the Armada tab in game to see the structure. We have one empty Beta spot and 6 Gamma slots left. We are already in talks with several other GLBTA fleets in game to try and fill up.

We have a few fleets in mind on the KDF side of the house.

I am eager to learn whom will become an ally to the House of Nagh'reD!

I'm not sure if this has been discussed already, but it might be a good idea to start thinking about forming an Armada chat channel for our collective of fleets, so that we can interact and/or team with members of other fleets in our Armada. Any thoughts on this?

Supposedly there already is an armada channel when we created the armada. So it shows in my chat options anyway.

Yeah, confirmed. We were testing this out in-game today and found that regular fleet members are unable to see or chat in the Armada chat channel, but that fleet administrators are able to.

I think that giving the general membership across all of our Armada's fleets access to both read and write in our Armada chat channel, would really be beneficial to bringing the fleets in our armada closer. It would be great to be able to freely invite and participate in queues and events across all of the amazing fleets in our Armada-to-be!

We did but the server died and I haven't set us up a new one yet. That is in the plans, though.
