* Is the game more PvP or PvE? I'm a PvE guy, so if it's mostly PvP, it's kind of lost on me.

* Is there a lot of story, or is it mostly just fighting?

* Is the Stonewall guild really active/talkative in-game?

It's a PVE & PVP game. There's PvP but you would never have to see it if you didn't want to.

There's a whole lot of PvE content which includes a main story line you do as you level up your character. Then there's living world story when you reach end-game.

The Stonewall guild is quiet at the moment but there's normally a few people online. I hope things will pick up when the expansion launches in October.

I'll think about it. But I already have so many unplayed games. But the reason I don't play most of them is there's no one to talk with.

Sincerely hope they limit F2P players to EotM and not grant them access to the regular WvW maps. There will be endless legions of F2P accounts created expressly to sabotage enemy servers:

• spy/report on enemy communications, troop movements, defensive posture, etc.
• raise enemy servers to WvW population caps to prevent new players / transfers
• queue maps to population caps to prevent enemy players from joining
• misbuild/misplace defensive siege so area siege caps prevent legitimate siege placement
• suicide enemy golem siege
• waste supply in enemy depots
• etc. etc. etc.

wow those are some restrictions lol...is world pvp so serious in this game that people would go to those lengths in mass pnuttbuttah?

The more competitive a game mode is, the greater lengths players will go to grief and exploit. The problem with opening up parts of a game to F2P is that it guarantees anonymity with no accountability. Those types of players will do anything when there's nothing to lose by being caught.

Free accounts have to level to 60 before they are allowed to entire World vs World (I assume that also includes edge of the mists).

lol my first part was about the restrictions to F2P players. As to the 2nd I totally understand how crazy people can get in competitive pvp games, I was a pretty involved pvper in WoW Vanilla and the crap people would do was crazy. I was just trying to figure out how serious GW2's pvp was cause I've never heard of it discussed
