My account "pinkscarab" has been stolen and the password and email address changed. If you see pinkscarab please report them!!

If you cant do a password reset via email contact them asap

I cannot access the account at all, the email has been changed. I don't know how they did it, I did not receive a special password request on my email account. I guess my star trek days are over..

Did you get a Code sent to you from the website?

When someone trys to log into the site... or the game.. from another browser or computer it stops them, before they can even log to get into your details.. and asks them for a code they sent to the registered address.

So it still MAY have not been hacked... cryptic may have blocked your account for some reason... Contact them asap

No i did not get a code, so I guess I could be blocked or banned for whatever reason. Dont you get notified if your account is banned?

When I put my email address into the password change area it says there is no email like that in the system?

they should contact you yea .... maybe its in a back log of emails to be sent.. or spam...

the only way to know is to use that link and contact them/submit a ticket asap as they take a while in responding...

Keep trying to reset your password, logging into the site or arc launcher or the game launcher.

Check your spam box, other email sorting tabs, try allsorts

if i cannot get my account back we might as well delete this account too then.

can you not create a new Star Trek Online account (I know, this is not a preferred option as it means losing everything you had) but it does not mean your gaming experience is over?

Also, when were you last in the game? and what was the last character you logged in with?

it is 17:00 GMT - The last character to log in under the fleet roster was your KDF 17 hours ago.

Your DSS and Legion characters were 23 hours ago and your Main character was 2 days ago.

Until you inform us otherwise I am demoting these toons to the rank of Recruit. This is nothing other than a safe guard to the fact you no longer claim access to the account. If you do reclaim it please inform me and I will promote them back to member.

Those log in times are correct, however do what you have to do.

I am waiting to hear back from cryptic and then I will update this post asap. Starting to think I might have been banned for reasons unknown to me :( but I am just guessing..

silly question, are you sure you are using the correct email and password ? :)

and at least it means no one has logged in since you lost access :)

do you remember what you were doing the last 24 hours where you may have been given a ban?

OK cryptic got back to me and it turns out that someone did attempt to access my account and they blocked it just in case. I am now in the process of recovering the account provided all the info I gave them was correct. Sorry about this..
