What are Accolades in Star Trek Online?

Accolades in Star Trek Online are special missions that track various achievements throughout a player's career in the Star Trek Online universe and unlock various rewards at certain milestones. Players can earn Accolades for many different actions in STO such as defeating a certain number of critters from a species or faction, completing main storyline missions, dealing tons of damage of a certain energy type, and many more.

For every Accolade that is completed players will earn Accolade Points, so earn a bunch and compare your score to your friends!

How can I view my Accolade Points?

Simply open your Journal (the 'J' key by default) and go to the Accolades tab. The total number of Accolade Points you have earned is listed at the bottom of that tab.

If you look at "completed" Accolades you will be able to see specific details about the Accolades you have finished and how many Accolade points you have earned for each one. If you look at "in progress" Accolades you can see your current progress towards completing a specific Accolade.

Besides in-game titles, what else can I earn by completing Accolades?

Titles are the primary reward right now (along with bragging rights!), however, certain Accolades will grant special rewards to you such as unique abilities.


There are currently 999 accolades with a total value of 17695 points. (971/16875 without retired) (1002/17740 for Romulans)

There are currently 799 accolades with a total value 14500 points. (802/14545 for Romulans)

Voth Ground Battlezone Accolades


Explorer of the Battlezone
You travelled to all of the contested points in the Dyson Sphere Battlezone.
Battlezone Points that you travel count only if they are contested (blue).

Mechanized Menace
Defeat mini-boss in the City area of the Battlezone.

Conquered the Commander
Defeat mini-boss in the Industrial area of the Battlezone.

Dinosaur Halted
Defeat mini-boss in the Park area of the Battlezone.

More Mini than Boss
You defeated one Voth mini-boss in each of the areas of the Dyson Sphere Battlezone.

Downed the Rex
You defeated one of the Voth's most dangerous weapons - a T-Rex.

Very Clever
You defeated the Voth's T-Rex in each part of the battlezone.

Unusual Opponent
You defeated an Aehallh worm in the Dyson Sphere. How did it get all the way out here? YELLOW SPOT ON MAP - You may have to wait for it to spawn


Swarmed the Swarmer
You defeated five of the Dyson Sphere's automated defenders.

Wants to Hunt
Kill 60 or more Voth in “Defeat Voth in the Battlezone” mission.


Voth Cultural Expert
You recovered all seven datapads regarding the Voth in the battlezone.


Testing the Limits
You discovered the area classified as the "city" by allied forces was used for psychological experiments. The intent was to create a weapon to use against enemies of the Dyson Sphere. (Note: This accolade is gained by using the 6 (3 city, 1 outskirts, 2 park) consoles throughout the Battlezone; one is near the entrance of each zone)


Searched for the Truth
The area classified as a "park" by the allied forces has many things that make it seem more than a simple park. You investigated some consoles and discovered the previous inhabitants were using the area to conduct experiments on various creatures.

The Blue Dots on the map are the locations of the Datapads - in the crates

To be able to open the crates you need to have control of the sector it is in.

The Green Dots are the locations of the Consoles.

Thanks for this. I got all except the Ship on the mountain. The transporter pad was not unlocked for me.

Take in the glory of the Enterprise-C during your escape from the Tholians.
When on the gantry leading to the Enterprise-C, take a good long look at her, from bridge to keel and stem to stern.

TIPS:

During the "Don't Quit your Day Job" Accolade you can assign your crew to do these tasks to get the accolade:

To get the "Now you C Me" accolade stand in the glass corridor (gantry) after relasing the Enterprise and look at the Enterprise from side to side.

Freedom For The People

Outside Paradise City a group of Orion Syndicate pirates will spawn holding hostages. Approach the group and open fire. 3 more waves of pirates will spawn before the final boss arrives. Focus fire on the Nausicaan warrior and upon his death you will receive your accolade.


Gorn Gone

In the canyon south of Paradise City a large number of Orion Syndicate pirates patrol the area. While they are strong in numbers, they are easily defeated. However, there is also a Gorn Engineer in the canyon who will present a challenge. He will use mortar turrets against you so pay attention to the ground and look for large, collapsing, red circles on the ground below you an move out. Upon his defeat you will receive your accolade.


Queen Slayer

North of Paradise City is an ancient ruin full of sandworms. The largest of them all is their queen, a huge worm that spawns in the northern part of the ruins. She is usually surrounded by several smaller worms that complicate things a bit. Make sure you keep moving around her and keep your distance. She will spit large amounts of acid that will form pools on the ground that last for quite a while. Meanwhile if you get to close to her, she will spin around and hit you with her body. After she's been defeated you will receive your accolade.


Storming The Stronghold

The local band of Orion Syndicate pirates have a massive fortress called the Stronghold. In the main courtyard you will encounter a large enemy force guarding the entrance to the night club at the very heart of the fort. The commander of these forces is a large Nausicaan warrior. This fight may be challenging so you may want to consider bringing more people with you, or using whatever personal reinforcements you may have. Upon his defeat you will receive the accolade.


Syndicate Smashed

Heading deeper into the Stronghold, you will encounter an Orion Taskmaster holding guard over the inner sanctum of the area. He will also have several squads of pirates around him so consider taking them out first before focusing fire on him. He uses an energy whip to stun you so keep your distance while shooting. Upon his defeat you will receive the accolade.


Scorpion Slayer

In the middle of the desert outside Paradise City you will find a large population of giant scorpions. Much like other lesser enemies in the area, even in groups these scorpions don't pose much of a threat unless you provoke too many packs. However one giant scorpion is often seen in the area and may present a challenge. Make sure you clear out any smaller scorpions around him first before focusing fire. Upon his defeat you will receive the accolade.


Free Satellite Coverage For All

Near the Installation 18, south-east of Paradise City, at the very edge of the desert, a high ranking Tal Shiar agent is attempting to use the installation for their own nefarious purposes. This area is also full of Aehallh worms so you may want to clear it out before engaging the boss. Upon his defeat you will receive the accolade.
