Transwarp problem?

So ever since I started the game and have been able to transwarp I see this screen. I can't pick the system that I warp to, only the quadrant :(
Any ideas

That's really strange. Maybe try doing a force recheck from the launcher.

Thanks I tried that didn't work. What else could I be missing?

If I am remembering this correctly... and I am probably not.
When you are not in a Excelsior you can only transwarp to sector blocks and that is even if you have a transwarp coil. here is a link to an old wiki. The transwarp coil will show you the locations that you can go, but ultimately it is the normal sector blocks.

Thank you I knew there was an explanation.

I just wish the devs would make up their minds whether or not sector blocks are relevant to the game anymore, because there are still a lot of in-game references to them but no explanation of what or where they are. There's apparently a lot of that sort of thing with content that was removed from gameplay, but was not necessarily removed from the game. It can really be maddening/baffling at times.

But sector blocks aren't really removed from gameplay. You can't really see what they are anymore or where their borders are, but they are there and they are relevant for doff missions for example.

Exactly my point. You can't see what or where they are, but they are still relevant if you want to try and find those doff missions. But good luck actually finding them because they've apparently been either half-removed or simply deprecated (even though they're still in use).
