[Processed]New GW2 here - Cheru.2341

Just moved back to Los Angeles from nyc, and just started playing GW2 recently. I like MMOs, and played wow for a long time, but the people are just too much. Heard GW2 has a good community and some interesting gameplay, so I'm giving it a shot. Still trying to figure it all out.

Looking for a good MMO community that understands how different the experience of playing video games is for women (let alone queer women). Ideally, the experience would be the same. Everyone gets to have fun equally, and no random dudes ask me to get naked for them.

So far the most interesting thing about GW2 has been the personal story aspect, and the dailies system is so much better. I'm more of a pve player (love raiding, but haven't gotten that far). Do enjoy some larger scale pvp as well. Interested to see how the wvw mechanic is done. Have to admit that I can't take the anthropomorphic frogs seriously, but y'know. Fantasy world.

Other interests include photography, flow arts (fire poi), and sci fi. Volunteered at LA pride, and walked in two GW2 "parades" on Sunday. It was very sweet.

I also enjoy photoshopping sunglasses onto pictures of cats.
