I wish Dulfy made guides for Star Trek Online. Where do you guys go when you want to do a bit more in depth research on ships, specializations, traits, and strategies for playing?

On everything but the strategies part, I honestly use the hell out of the wiki even though it's not exactly the best as wikis go. I tend to use my personal wiki contributor pages as a sort of combination character sheet and reference guide, pulling some of the most useful (IMO) information together into one place. There are links to external references there too; I'm really big on one-stop shops for efficiency's sake.

This may not be quite what you're after since my choices might not necessarily align with yours, but it might at least serve as a starting point for you to look into some of that stuff. I'd recommend starting with the "General Reference" and "Nav Table Jumplists" sections.

PS: If you play GW2, I built a much more elaborate page for that game here (started before prelaunch, so years of editing with similar kinds of info).

I use the wiki. I read what's going on here to get a sense of people who are more knowledgeable are doing. I visit STOAcademy and the STOBuilds reddit too.

I am currently using the gamepedia site to make a spreadsheet of the playable ships, but so much data is incomplete (for example, it rarely tells you if a console can be used on any ship or just that ship). I am now using the in game C-store tab and updating it as I can.

My problem with reddit is staying focused :P

Thank you for the video! I shall be watching that during my lunch break today!

Before you get too far into it, take a look at this first. It might have what you want:
