Volume 2 Issue 9 Layout now Available - MANY Need Authors for major articles (PLEASE READ!)

Hello writers! :D

Please visit this link to see Vol 2 Issue 9's layout. We will be pushing this issue during the first week of December, so we have quite a bit of work between now and then -- We need to turn in the completed layout at least a week before (so that gives us about 25 days) Looks like it is going to be another great issue :) As of right now, I have a few assignments up based on your suggestions/ past articles but there are a couple articles that still need authors for a few articles AND we need a few ideas for some articles.

Please respond in this thread with any other ideas for articles, or problems with the layout =)

I would really like everyone to respond to this thread in the Stonewall Writers group to find out what everyone thinks.

I hope to have another SWTOR: Intro article done, however with DakonKor and I's wedding in November I'm uncertain if I'll be able to complete it in time. I think DakonKor had planned to try and get authors for all 4 remaining Holocron Access Articles so they could be posted in the edition so all the information is out there before Launch but I that may have changed.

If needed, I will do the smuggler article. That is still my favorite profession. At least in TOR it is. It is like being a spy, now if I could be a bothan, I would be so happy!

Doogie, Doing the Smuggler article would be GREAT! Take a look at the past 2 issues of the Times to get an idea of how the article flows and what is talked about :)

Doogie, that would be great if you could do the Smuggler article!

To Mikey's message: I had thought about trying to squeeze all 4 of the remaining profession articles into the December edition since we were skipping a month. However, I clearly had no idea what I was getting into when I started planning this wedding and have so little free time and personally can't take on the responsibility of authoring one of the articles this time around.

Question on the F2P Launch Guide: So much is in flux on Tribble right now, with more changes to come, that I'm wondering how up-to-date it will be if written now? I think it's a great idea but, if this issue comes out the first week of December, I have a feeling the F2P launch is going to be somewhere near there. Maybe make it into a two-part thing; part for this issue, and another part for the issue following? People will definitely be looking for guides to the changes when it goes live, as I'm sure there are tons of players who haven't touched Tribble at all to test and try it out. Or, is it possible to leave it out of this issue, and do a "Supplemental Issue" that is completely about the F2P changeover that would come out a week or two later? I know, I know... I can hear the "OMG that's a ton more work..." :-P We still have yet to see the skills tree revamp, how they are going to "fix" crafting, etc. Any thoughts from the group?

I will see what I can put together this week. Especially with the new changes heading in. I will start it, but drag my feet to the end of the week a bit since more things have been hinted at to come this week. :-P

Aldente has volunteered to the write the Bounty Hunter article, so if Doogie is covering the Smuggler, it looks like we have coverage for the Holocron Access articles.
